At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to: - determine the incidence of euroendocrine tumors and classification of tumors.
- determine who is at risk and the role of genetic syndromes.
- recognize symptoms of neuroendocrine tumors and conduct an appropriate diagnostic workup.
- describe current strategies for treatment of neuroendocrine tumors, including surgical, medical and radiation strategies, and appropriate follow-up strategies.
- identify cultural/linguistic factors that impact the epidemiology, incidence, diagnosis, treatment, clinical course, and/or long-term outcomes of neuroendocrine tumors.
