At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to: - identify current H1N1 “hot spots” in LA County and who is at risk for H1N1 influenza.
- recognize the signs and symptoms of HiN1.
- cite the ecommended treatment and prophylaxis modalities for H1N1and recommended infection prevention measures
- cite the roles of local, state, and federal agencies in responding to an H1N1 outbreak.
- know what to do if you suspect H1N1.
- identifycultural/linguistic factors that impact the epidemiology, incidence, diagnosis, treatment, clinical course, and/or long-term outcomes of H1N1 influenza
